Where You're Meant to Be

The last light of evening spills across the desert mesas, painting the towering sandstone cliffs in shades of copper and gold. A warm breeze winds through the canyon, carrying the earthy fragrance of sunbaked cedar, wild desert herbs, and the faint sweetness of ripening fruit. Far below, a narrow river snakes between the ancient rock formations, its surface reflecting the fiery colors of the setting sun.

High above the canyon floor, a mountain lion moves silently along a weathered ledge, its tawny coat blending into the surrounding stone. Loose pebbles tumble beneath its paws, disappearing into the shadows below. The cat pauses beside a twisted juniper, surveying the vast landscape as the evening wind stirs the dry grasses along the ridge.

Beyond the cliffs, the desert stretches toward distant mountains, where the first hints of violet settle into the fading sky. The warmth of the day lingers in the rocks, mingling with the rich scent of amber, peppercorn, and earthy patchouli as twilight slowly descends.
